Andrew & Andrea’s Engagement Session

A few weeks ago, I met up with Andy and Andrea for their engagement session at Tower Hill Botanical Garden. Tower Hill is one of my favorite winter spots for pictures – their indoor citrus gardens make a beautiful backdrop and if you like the cold, there are plenty of spots outside that are lovely year round!

Andy and Andrea were so much fun to work with, I love photographing couples who compliment each other so well I’ve known Andrea for over 20 years (just figured that one out…and now I feel old!) and it’s great to see her so happy! Just look at these smiles…

These images were taken in the Orangerie which is Tower Hill’s main indoor garden, it smells as good as it looks!

They also have a brand new Limonaia which we were able to check out as well – it was my first time shooting there!

We braved the cold and snow for a few shots outside as well, I think it was worth the chill…

{Ashle & Britne} Saying goodbye to 2009!

Maybe it’s a little late to be posting a “farewell to 2009″ but I couldn’t resist My last session of the year was for Ashle and Britne. They are seniors in college and wanted to have some portraits done to commemorate the milestone! We went down to the beach in Mattapoisett. It was a pretty nice day for December, but still pretty chilly by the water!!

During the shoot we brought their cousin Kyle in for a couple…

We ended the day with the whole family together…

On Saturday I photographed my last wedding of 2009. What a year it has been! I’ll be sharing some highlights from 2009 soon, but this post is all about Meghan and George I couldn’t have asked for a better couple (or wedding) to complete my season. They were so much fun to work with and the day was simply beautiful. All of the details came together to create a wonderfully elegant backdrop for their wedding day.
