Last week I photographed my newest little cousin Sam at exactly 1 week old. I was so excited to meet Xavier’s future buddy, I can only imagine the fun they’ll have together as they grow up!

I love the newborn stage, so sleepy and peaceful They don’t stay little like this for long…

Sam is almost three weeks old and oh-so-cute! He was such a great little model! I love that wrinkly newborn skin

I’m also partial to baby toes!

We took a few shots with Sam’s stuffed giraffe for scale!

Jessica’s Maternity Session

A few weeks ago, I met with Jessica, her husband Eric and their adorable daughter Gwen for a maternity session. I believe their little one has already arrived so I am looking forward to meeting him or her next week! We had a great time with the session. Gwen is such a little star, she was so much fun in front of the camera. We were also able to get some nice “quiet” maternity moments that are so nice to look back on. These are a few of my favorites…

I love the look on Gwen’s face in this picture, I think this was the one millisecond during our entire shoot that she didn’t have a huge smile on her face
