My name is Megan and I am the
owner and primary photographer for Perspectives Photography. My love
for photography began almost fifteen years ago in a small darkroom at
ORRHS (my old high school). From working with film and chemicals to a
digital camera and a computer my love for photography has never
diminished.
I attended the Massachusetts College of Art
& Design in Boston where I double majored in photography and art
education. I taught photography and art while developing my business
and retired from teaching in 2006 to pursue photography full time.
Currently,
I live in Bellingham, Massachusetts with my wonderful husband Eric and
beautiful daughter Ellinor. I am available for both local and travel
commissions and hope to hear from you soon!

Last week I photographed my newest little cousin Sam at exactly 1 week old. I was so excited to meet Xavier’s future buddy, I can only imagine the fun they’ll have together as they grow up!
I love the newborn stage, so sleepy and peaceful

The newest member of our family made his appearance on March 7, 2011 at 1:59 am. Xavier weighed in at 9lb 5oz – a shock to me since his big sister was only 7lb 11oz at birth – and was 20 3/4” long. We had a very peaceful homebirth – I hope to post some images soon! It was an amazing experience that I will treasure for the rest of my life.
Ellinor is SO excited to be a big sister! She loves giving “her baby” kisses and hugs and Xavier doesn’t seem to mind the attention. Eric and I are so in love with our son.

I’m behind on Blogging but I hope to catch up during my maternity leave!
I am in love with fall in New England. The colors and light are so beautiful, it’s my favorite time of year both personally and as a photographer! This fall, I met up with Rebecca and Tim for their engagement session at Middlesex Campus where they both went to school. The wedding will take place here as well so the engagement session was a wonderful opportunity to explore the ground and get some fun shots. Here are a few of my favorites…
