I am often asked “What made you go into wedding photography?” For me, the answer is pretty simple.
When I was a student at MassArt studying Fine Art photography, I found myself drawn to emotion, light, shadow and details. In the summer of 2002, I brought a camera along to my cousin’s wedding and left with three images that are still among my all time favorites…
I found most everything that I loved about fine art photography was there in wedding photography too. I loved the emotions that ran through the day, families coming together, the start of two people beginning a lifelong journey together. I instantly loved the concept of photographing these once in a lifetime moments and I knew then that I wanted to continue to pursue wedding photography are a career.
