Thank you for visiting my blog!  Here you can keep up with the latest sessions, weddings and events as well as some of the events in my life.  I hope you enjoy looking around and check back often for new content!

Getting to know me...

My name is Megan and I am the
owner and primary photographer for Perspectives Photography.  My love
for photography began almost fifteen years ago in a small darkroom at
ORRHS (my old high school).  From working with film and chemicals to a
digital camera and a computer my love for photography has never
diminished.

I attended the Massachusetts College of Art
& Design in Boston where I double majored in photography and art
education.  I taught photography and art while developing my business
and retired from teaching in 2006 to pursue photography full time.

Currently,
I live in Bellingham, Massachusetts with my wonderful husband Eric and
beautiful daughter Ellinor.  I am available for both local and travel
commissions and hope to hear from you soon!

Jocelyn & Olivia Turn One!!

I can’t believe it’s been (nearly) a year since these two beautiful girls came into this world.  Jocelyn and Olivia will turn 1 on April 26th and we celebrated today with a cake-smashing photoshoot!  The girls were delicate at first, but definitely got into the frosted sweetness after a few minutes. Their little cousin Ellinor was watching from the sidelines, taking notes for when it’s her turn :)

In these pictures, Jocelyn has the pink cake and Olivia has purple.  Since the girls are identical, I changed my logo color on each picture to reflect who is who (Olivia is Purple, Jocelyn is Pink)…in the pictures where they’re together, Jocelyn is on the left.

Here are the birthday cakes, made by my ever talented sister, Caycie…

After the fun, the girls needed a quick dip in the sink…

What a difference a year makes…Jocelyn and Olivia at 10 days old…

April 22, 2009 - 9:27 am Allison - Megan the one in the sink is so cute! Not that the rest aren't they are perfect but as a Mother I just see that being timeless! Perfect session.

May 7, 2009 - 6:23 pm Emily - The girls are so big! These pictures are darling and hilarious at the same time. I'm sure those pictures will be a big hit when the girls grow up! They are lucky to have you to document them.

May 12, 2009 - 10:48 am Tony Yu - I must admit I am not a reader, I mostly look at images. You caught me completely off guard with that images of them together. Great work!
