Engagement sessions are a very important part of what I do as a photographer. It gives me a chance to get to know each couple before the wedding and really helps make the wedding day go smoother because the bride and groom are already used to being in front of the camera.
Previously, couples ordered prints from their engagement session but now we are able to offer something new: Engagement sign in albums. These are actual coffee table albums (7”x7”) that incorporate images from the engagement session and are put out at the reception in lieu of traditional guestbooks.
Nicole and Michael will be getting married on May 20, 2007. Their engagement session was done at Waterplace Park in downtown Providence. When I told Nicole and Michael about the sign in albums, they decided right away that they’d like one for their wedding. Here are a few sample spreads from their engagement sign in book:
