Last Saturday Emily and I photographed Lindsay and Steve’s wedding in Providence, RI.  The day was just beautiful.  Their reception venue, Providence Piers, was amazing!  We had a great time photographing all the events of day!  Here are a few highlights…

Amy and John will be getting married in October! I can’t believe that we’re nearly in September :)

We met up to do their engagement pictures at Hopkinton State Park. It’s a really great spot for pictures - nice trails to walk on, butterflies and frogs to try and catch, and of course, the lake is beautiful as well.  We had a great time with the shoot.  Here are a few of my favorites - Amy and John’s personalities really come through!

Earlier this week, I ventured down to the cape to photograph a family session. This was the extended family of Sara and Kevin, who I photographed down in Westport with their two boys. It was great seeing Sara, Kevin, Owen and Brennan again and getting to meet the rest of their family too! Here is a sampling of the shots we took!

On Friday, I photographed Lauren and Iggy’s wedding in Bristol, Rhode Island at Linden Place.  Linden Place is a historical building (now operates as a museum) and was an amazing background for their big day!

The ceremony and reception were witnessed by their closest friends and family.  Everything was beautiful - I was so happy to be there to capture all the little moments and details.

These past few weeks, I have been working on updating the Perspectives proofing and cart system. I now have several of my new galleries on the new system and will be working on transferring some of the recent sessions to the new cart as well.

The new cart is located at a new domain: www.perspectives-clients.com/shop

Right now the link on my web site will still direct you to the old cart and proofing system, but that should be changing sometime this week!

If you have any questions about the new system feel free to drop me a line at megan@perspectives-photography.com

Yesterday I went down to Horseneck beach in Westport with Ariel for her senior pictures. We had beautiful weather and even the wind (which can be fierce at Horseneck) was cooperative!

Here are a few of my favorites so far…

Nichole & John were married last weekend in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. The ceremony was by Lake Winnipesaukee - it was the perfect backdrop for their big day.

You may recognize my niece, Hannah, in some of the photos as she’s been featured on my blog so many times! Nichole is one of my cousins (I love shooting family events!) and my sister and Hannah were both in the wedding party.
I had a really hard time narrowing down highlights for my blog. There were so many great shots throughout the day, and so many adorable pictures of the kids! Here’s the preview!!

Hannah and Cole practicing their dance moves…

Madisyn was a little young to have been an official part of the ceremony, but she looked adorable in her little dress!

Gabi, Cole & Hannah clearing the way for Nichole and her Dad!

The rain cleared just in time for the guests to arrive leaving us with an amazing sky…

The guys having some fun…

Gabi, Cole and Blake were so cute together!

The first dance of the evening…

My sister Caycie is not only a talented photographer, but she also makes beautiful wedding cakes! Her talents never cease to amaze me!

Last week I photographed two adorable brothers at a beach in Westport, Mass. We had a perfect evening for pictures and the beach all to ourselves!  There were so many amazing images it was hard to narrow it down for the blog.  We were able to get great shots of the whole family together and fun candids of the boys just being themselves!

Welcome Evelyn!

Yesterday, my sister-in-law and brother-in-law welcomed a new addition to their family. Evelyn Grace was born at 8:31 and weighed in at 9lb 2oz! Eric and I went over to the hospital to meet her, she is just perfect.  Evelyn pretty much slept through our visit :) but she’d had a long day so we didn’t mind!

I guessed on her length here since she hadn’t been measured when we went in to visit…

Last Saturday, Caycie and I photographed Andrea and Dan’s wedding in Concord, Mass. The entire day was beautiful.  There were lots of exciting and heartfelt moments to be captured!  Here are a few of our favorites so far!

Andrea’s brother wrote and then performed a song for them. If only I could record audio!

As a surprise for Andrea, Dan and his friends took over for the band and played a song in the middle of the night…

I got this shot of Andrea while she was watching Dan play…

One of the last songs of the night was “New York, New York” and they got a very impressive kick line going!
