The days are flying by. Winter is slowly turning into spring as my little girl inches closer to her second birthday! While Ellie took her first steps on Christmas Eve (which was also my Grandmother’s 87th birthday) she has been reluctant to give up crawling. Within the past few weeks she’s been toddling around the house, probably walking 50% of the time which is impressive! She’s still a much faster crawler so when she really wants something, you can bet she’ll be crawling towards it. She’s at such a fun age and I am cherishing every moment I get to spend with her!
Here are a few of my favorite shots from our shoot today…

Sometimes I don’t know why we buy her toys when this is all she wants to play with

Last week was a busy time for portraits! Another one of my “First Year” babies turned one! Daniel was a very “neat” cake smasher, he seemed to enjoy taking the cake apart but didn’t like the frosting sticking to his hands! Can’t say I blame him
Here’s a quick detail of Daniel’s cake. Caycie, my very talented sister, made this herself using Daniel’s birthday paper plates as inspiration. I just love how the cake turned out!

Before we got to the smashing, we took a few pictures of Daniel hanging out…

Such a happy boy!

Last week I took Alice came to visit me in Bellingham for her 9 month pictures! I can’t believe how big she’s getting!

On Monday I shot a portrait party in a private residence on the North Shore. I was able to photograph nine adorable little ones (and was very tempted to take a few of them home with me!). Here are a few sneak peeks from the day…

Our last session of the day was for Parker. His 1st birthday is in a couple of weeks so his parents decided to turn his session into a quick cake smash!

I can’t believe that Sean is already a year old! He is the newest graduate of my “Baby’s First Year” program. I met him for the first time when he was just 3 months old, then we had an outdoor session at 6 months. At 12 months we had a big celebration in the form of a cake smash! Here are a few highlights from his session…

Happy Birthday Sean!!
